What are the assessment practices used in your school?
Our assessment practices at RK International School are comprehensively designed to suit and enhance our curriculum. We use a mix of quizzes, interactive discussions, and real-time feedback to track ongoing student progress and adapt teaching methods. End-of-term exams and major projects are designed to test cumulative knowledge and practical application. We also emphasise creative assessments such as presentations and multimedia projects.

NEP-2020 has laid special emphasis on vocational skills and entrepreneurships. How is your school providing these two through curriculum?
RK International School is committed to aligning with NEP-2020’s focus on vocational skills and entrepreneurship. Our entrepreneurship modules include real-world business simulations, financial literacy workshops, and start-up incubators. Students engage with successful entrepreneurs and work on business ideas from concept to execution. We insist on project-based learning to help the students get valuable insights and experience in a practical setting.
What measures has the school taken to help students cope with stress and to develop their EQ?
At RK International School, to support our students’ mental and emotional well-being, we organise bi-weekly counselling sessions. To manage stress, we have included yoga, mindfulness sessions, and time management workshops, so that students can balance their academic and personal lives. We also focus on developing skills such as empathy, resilience, and self-awareness, preparing students to handle life’s challenges effectively.
