Pratibha Singh slams Kangana Ranaut over controversial comments

Himachal Pradesh Congress Committee president Pratibha Singh has condemned Kangana Ranaut, MP from Mandi constituency, for making offensive remarks about the farmers’ agitation. Asking the BJP to apologise to the farmers, the HPCC president said the offensive comments were highly insulting and can’t be tolerated.

She said the country had already seen the BJP’s anti-farmer face and the Mandi MP’s statement was part of the party’s well-planned strategy. “The BJP may have distanced itself from the comments of its MP, but its refusal to apologise to the farmers reveals its two-facedness in the matter related to the farmers of the country,” she said.
