The school celebrated its annual Merit Eve, a momentous occasion coinciding with the birth centenary of its visionary guiding light Dr RS Bhatia. Kala Ramachandran, Principal Secretary Tourism and Heritage, Government of Haryana, was the chief guest. The ceremony commenced with the traditional lamp lighting, followed by a melodious welcome by the school choir. The highlights of the event included the presentation of the school’s annual report, showcasing its remarkable achievements, and the felicitation of nine teachers for their 25 years of dedicated service. Nearly 100 students were honoured for their exceptional accomplishments in academics, co-curricular and extracurricular activities. A biopic based on Dr Bhatia’s autobiography “Delving Into My Past” the centre piece of the evening, captivated the audience with its engrossing portrayal of his immense contribution to the cause of education, his magnanimity as a philanthropist and the enduring legacy. President of the trust Ajay Bhatia lauded the concerted efforts put in by the staff and students in paying a befitting tribute to Dr RS Bhatia and expressed pride in the school’s unwavering commitment to excellence and service.
