Power theft continues with the active help of Power Department staff in many colonies of Jammu. In the Ganga Nagar area of Bantalab, many households are drawing electricity illegally to run their electronic gadgets. Other residents in the area are facing a lot of problems but nobody is hearing their pleas. We urge the authorities to curb the theft of power.

The burning of solid waste in Trikuta Nagar areas during the day is not only causing pollution but also creating problems for the people. Sanitation staff of the JMC is simply burning the garbage rather than lifting it. The garbage consists of plastic and polythene waste which burns for hours and pollutes the air. The authorities should see that this practice ends in Trikuta Nagar and other parts of the city.
