Poor hygiene at Narwana vegetable market
THE vegetable market in Narwana is filled with dirty water mixed with sewage, heaps of garbage and stray cattle can be seen moving around. Stench emanating from the area makes it difficult to breathe and people are forced to buy daily need items in unhygienic conditions. There's no proper sweeping and garbage is not segregated and lifted regularly. The platform where squatters sell, becomes slushy and muddy during monsoon. The market committee should see that proper hygiene is where hundreds of customers visit daily.. Ramesh Gupta, Narwana
Poor upkeep of plants and trees a cause for concern
Trees and saplings planted during the monsoons on dividers of the main roads in the city have become a victim of poor upkeep. Many of the trees and plants have already dried up and withered and there is hardly anyone to take care and ensure that the newly planted trees get the care they need. Such kind of mismanagement results in the loss of funds that are spent on plantation each year. Sumer Khatri, Faridabad
Put an end to use of loudspeakers
Nowadays, the city is full of vendors who are selling their wares with the help of loudspeakers making it difficult for residents to sit in peace at home. From 8 am to 8 pm, these street vendors roam around and keep the speakers on at full volume. It is very difficult to sit at home in the afternoon. The Municipal body officials are requested to issue an order so that restrictions are put on the usage of these loudspeakers.
