The prevailing weather and polluted air due to stubble burning has taken a toll on the health of Congress candidate Amrita Warring and AAP candidate Hardeep Singh Dimpy Dhillon.

Amrita today suspended her election campaign and preferred to take rest, while Dimpy campaigned for a short while after getting some rest and medicines.

“Dimpy ji’s health worsened due to smog. He has got intravenous fluid and restarted the campaign after taking rest for a while. The Chief Minister is also coming tomorrow to Gidderbaha,” said Dimpy’s personal assistant.

Meanwhile, PCC chief and Ludhiana MP Amrinder Singh Raja Warring today held a door-to-door campaign at Doda village here and also went to the AAP’s office there to seek votes for his wife from the people present there.
