Under the directives of Special DGP, Community Affairs Division, Punjab, and with the leadership of Swapan Sharma, Commissioner of Police, these seminars were conducted across several educational institutions in the city today. The sessions were closely supervised by Sukhwinder Singh, ADCP HQ, and district community police officer, alongside teams from Saanjh kendras, who played a crucial role in the programme’s execution.

Schools that hosted these seminars include SKS Paradise School in Dakoha, DMS School in Model Town, MGN Khalsa Senior Secondary School in Jalandhar Cantt and Doaba Senior Secondary School, Doaba Chowk. Beyond these vital topics, the seminars also informed students, teachers and school staff about various services provided by Saanjh, the importance of adhering to traffic rules and the growing threats posed by cybercrime. Additionally, the seminars emphasised the significance of newly introduced traffic laws and emergency helpline numbers such as 112 and 1930, which are crucial for prompt assistance in times of distress.

The seminars also highlighted the serious consequences of underage driving, urging both students and parents to recognise the legal and safety risks involved. This comprehensive approach aims to create a safer and more informed community, equipped to handle various challenges in today’s rapidly changing environment.
