Some officials posted in State Special Operation Cell (SSOC) police station here have been honoured by the Police Department for their commendable services.

These officials were not only instrumental in the recovery of drugs pushed into the Indian territory by Pakistan through drones, but also nabbed the peddlers involved in drug trade.

Sources said SSOC incharge Satinderjit Singh, ASI Hardayal Singh, Sandeep Kumar, Kewal Krishan, Kulwinder Singh, Harsimran Singh and Suman Rani each were honoured with a Rs 4,000 cash prize.
