A science and general knowledge quiz was organised by the Science Department on the premise of the school. Students from classes III to X participated enthusiastically in it. The quiz was organised in two sections. It was a house-wise competition wherein the junior category students of classes III to VI participated and in the senior category, students of classes VII to X participated. In the quiz, questions were asked about various branches of science, like biology, physics and chemistry, environment and current events. The students demonstrated their intelligence and presence of mind by answering the questions. Tulip House stood first in the junior category and Zinnia House stood first in the senior category. Acting Principal Sukhjit Kaur said such competitions are necessary to boost the curiosity to gain knowledge and confidence.
