Police bust international drug syndicate, arrest 2 men

Seize 1.5 kg heroin

Police busted an international drug syndicate, and arrested two men.

Police said Sukhdeep Singh and Krishan were connected to international drug cartels.

Police also seized 1.5 kg heroin.

Sukhdeep was earlier involved in a kidnapping case in 2020 and was out on bail since May 2024.

The suspects used to hide the contraband in jackets and smuggle it in vehicles, police said.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
