The school observed ‘Swachhta Pakhwada’ to promote cleanliness and hygiene on its premises and in the communities. In-charge Principal Anita Kohli inaugurated the programme by administering Swachhta pledge to all children and teachers. Under the fortnight-long programme, different activities were organised as per the directions of the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office, Gurugram. A teachers-parents meeting was organised to increase awareness about cleanliness among children and parents. Students took part in a Swachhata Awareness rally, essay writing, slogan writing, poster making, painting exhibition, etc. All the teachers of the school made a commendable contribution. Anita Kohli, while highlighting importance of cleanliness, boosted the morale of the students who did excellent work in the campaign by honouring them with trophies on the closing ceremony.
