Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate the ‘Karmayogi Saptah’ — National Learning Week (NLW) on October 19 at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre in New Delhi. The initiative, part of the larger Mission Karmayogi launched in September 2020, aims to enhance the skills of civil servants nationwide.

The National Learning Week focuses on fostering individual and organisational development within the civil service, promoting lifelong learning. Civil servants, known as Karmayogis, will dedicate at least four hours to competency-linked learning through online modules, webinars, and public lectures.

The week-long event is expected to strengthen civil service capacity, aligning efforts with national goals and enhancing citizen-centric service delivery. Various ministries will also host seminars and workshops to develop specific competencies.
