Plot allocation for Lavi Fair begins
The process for the allocation of shops for the International Lavi Fair began on Saturday. Plots along the National Highway will be allotted by November 6, after which bidding will take place for stalls and plots within the fairgrounds. Each bidder will be allowed to acquire a maximum of two plots. Participants in the bidding process must present their Aadhaar card and deposit the bid amount on the same day.
The international Lavi Fair, a symbol of India-Tibet trade relations, will be held in Rampur from November 11 to 14. Prior to the fair, a horse exhibition will be held in the fairgrounds from November 4 to 6. The Lavi Fair Plot Allocation Committee began the allocation process today from Plot No 1, located near the Buddhist temple in Rampur. In the first phase, plots for shops and stalls along the National Highway are being allocated. This year, the reserved prices for plots in the auction remain the same as last year. The allocation committee has invited traders interested in conducting business at the fair to attend the on-the-spot bidding process.
The committee clarified that each person may acquire up to two plots, and subletting will not be permitted. Successful bidders must bring their Aadhaar card and deposit the bid amount immediately.
BR Negi, Executive Officer of the Municipal Council, stated the plot allocation process for the Lavi Fair had begun along the National Highway today. The Plot Allocation Committee, chaired by the Tehsildar, includes members from the Municipal Council and Public Works Department.
