The aim of the rally was to make people aware of the harm of drug abuse and to urge parents to keep an eye on their children so that they did not fall prey to drug abuse. Campus Director Chandra Mohan said drug addiction ruined the future of youth. He stressed that everyone should work together to eradicate this social evil. Department Head Amit Sharma said the rally was a part of World Pharmacist Day celebrations. On this occasion, poster-making, slogan writing, quiz and debate competitions were also organised, and the winners were honoured with certificates and medals.
