Ludhiana, September 12 Punjab Agricultural University Teachers Association (PAUTA) continued their protest on the 23rd day today and have decided to stage a dharna followed by a rally tomorrow during the Kisan Mela. Teachers are protesting against the allegedly callous attitude of the university administration and the state government as the university continues to be the only one where staff has not received revised house rent allowance, medical allowance, city compensatory allowance and gratuity. There is great frustration among the faculty and calls for a boycott of all work is gaining ground. — TNS
