ZS Mohali get the better of Grand Square in cricket

The ZS Mohali 11 secured an easy win against Grand Square 11 with a big score of 356 runs in a three-day match of the Hans Raj Saggi Memorial Tournament held here yesterday. The team had maintained a lead of 198 runs in the first innings on Wednesday and decided to bat first in the second innings.
Vishwa Pratap Singh of the Mohali team was declared the man of the match. Though he was bowled out at 12 runs in the second innings, he gave his team a lead of 135 runs by grabbing three wickets in the first innings.
On the third day of the match, Anil Yadav scored 103 runs off 106 balls (5 sixes and 9 fours) while Akashdeep and Kartik Sharma managed 76 and 67 runs respectively. Akashdeep pushed the ball to the boundary 13 times. The team lost 6 wickets while reaching an appreciable score of 356 runs for the day.
For Grand Square 11, Sahib Singh and Emanjot Singh grabbed 3 and 2 wickets respectively. The team did not bat and ended the day after bowling 72 overs to the Mohali team.
The Mohali team had reached a score of 389 runs in the first innings. They maintained a lead of 198 runs after restricting Grand Square 11 at 191 runs by the second day of the match on Wednesday.
