Viral video shows brutal assault: 23-year-old stabbed to death in Patiala market

A horrific incident occurred in Patiala on Friday evening, where a 23-year-old man, Karan, was brutally assaulted and stabbed multiple times after being dragged off a running motorcycle in the Ablowal market area. The victim, a resident of Babu Singh Colony, succumbed to his injuries due to excessive blood loss at Rajindra Hospital here.

Police have identified the accused as Ansh from Passiana village, Amaneet from Gaushala Road, and Yuvraj from Kahlwan village, along with two unidentified aides. The incident took place on Friday evening, and a viral video on social media shows the brutal attack, where Karan was hit by a man on another bike, and then assaulted by multiple men.

ASP Patiala Viabhav Choudhary stated that the police have registered an FIR against the five accused and are investigating the motive behind the murder, not ruling out any old enmity. The police are working swiftly to apprehend the accused and bring them to justice.
