Spiritual symbols’ graffiti sparks outrage

Residents of Patiala are expressing anger over the appearance of a graffiti depicting spiritual symbols and text on a footpath of Leela Bhawan Chowk. The graffiti, believed to have been painted during the night, was noticed by some local residents on Wednesday morning.

The incident has raised concerns over the motive behind the act. While it remains unclear who is responsible, many believe it to be the work of anti-social elements or individuals with malicious intent.

Sunil Mehta, secretary of the Patiala Municipal Corporation, confirmed that the matter had been reported to the civic authorities. He stated that appropriate measures were being taken to remove it.
