Preneet Kaur assures safe return of youth stranded in Russia-Ukraine

Patiala, July 16

Senior BJP Leader Preneet Kaur met with the family of Gurpreet Singh, a youth from Patiala who is stranded in Russia-Ukraine today.

Kaur assured them that the Centre was working to secure the release of all Indian youths forcibly recruited to fight in the Russia-Ukraine war.

Last week, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Russian President Vladimir Putin and secured a commitment for the release of Indian youth stranded in Russia and Ukraine. Gurpreet’s parents, Baljinder Kaur and Naib Singh, expressed gratitude to Kaur for her efforts and support. Preneet said, “The Prime Minister’s meeting with President Putin has paved the way for the release of our youth.”
