The Postgraduate Punjabi Department of Khalsa College, Patiala, Punjabi Sahitya Sabha and Bhasha Manch organised a poetry recitation competition today in which 25 students from different departments participated.
In the competition, Jagdeep Singh from MA Punjabi (part II), Parneet Kaur from BA Social Science and Haven Kaur from B Com (part 1) and Harman Jot Singh of MA Punjabi (part I) won the first, second and third positions, respectively.
Principal Dharminder Singh Ubha said the college strived to connect its students with their heritage through such events.
