MLA kick-starts Rs 2.5 crore projects

With an eye on civic body elections, AAP MLA from Patiala Ajitpal Singh Kohli toured the local markets and streets on a scooter alongside Municipal Corporation Commissioner Rajat Oberoi.

This initiative is aimed at providing the MC Commissioner with a firsthand view of the city’s challenges to resolve them on the spot.

During the visit, the MLA started various development projects worth Rs 2.5 crore. He said Rs 25 crore was being spent on parks, roads, streets and other facilities. Madan Arora, Kishan Chand Buddhu, Harpal Singh Bittu, Gursharan Singh Sunny, Sushil Minda, Amritpal Singh Pali, Simarpreet Singh, Puneet Budhiraja and many local residents were also present.
