The Patiala Chapter of the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine organized a CME (Continuing Medical Education) event themed ‘Critical Care Reaching Out to Masses’ at Mata Kaushalya Hospital.

Punjab Health Minister Dr Balbir Singh who was the chief guest called on the doctors and participants to develop a standardised protocol for life-crisis management at the periphery level.

He emphasised the need for comprehensive training for medical and paramedical staff in life-saving techniques, with the goal of making critical care accessible and timely. Dr Balbir Singh also encouraged clinicians to continually upgrade their skills in intensive care to meet evolving medical challenges.
