On the sixth day of the weeklong Pritam Singh Oberoi Memorial National Theatre Festival at Kalidasa Auditorium, Virsa Vihar Kendra, Patiala, play ‘Maharathi’ dealt a blow to ‘caste discriminators’.

The event is being held under the aegis of the North Zone Cultural Centre (NZCC) by Kala Kriti Patiala and Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust.

This play directed by Abhishek Mudgal is based on the life story of Maharathi Karna. It showcased that how even today, caste and creed are considered superior, ignoring skills.
