The Krishi Vigyan Kendra's five-day training course on "Integerated training course in Home Science" concluded on Wednesday. The course saw the participation of 36 farm women and farmers from different villages like Masingan, Rurki, Sadnauli and Kalyan.

The presentations covered areas like embellishment of decorative clothes with various kinds of hand embroidery stitches, fabric painting and hand knitting, preparation of various ornamental articles among others.

Baba Puran Dass Ji Self Help Group president Harjeet Kaur Rorewal also delivered a talk on value added fashion products during the training.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
