Heritage walk held
Patiala, February 4
As part of the Patiala Heritage Festival 2024, the Patiala Foundation, in collaboration with the district administration, conducted a heritage walk at Baradari Gardens here today.
More than 500 people from all walks of life took part in the walk. Participants were briefed on a variety of exotic trees, shrubs, the fern house and many more relevant things about the Baradari Garden. The event was succeeded by the Heritage Food Festival.
The walk was led by Ravee Singh Ahluwalia who led the participants through the trail within the Garden narrating the history and relevance of the trees and monuments. He emphasised the need for protecting the biodiversity housed in the Baradari Gardens. The food fiesta had 12 stalls of vegetarian and non-vegetarian food exhibiting the traditional taste of Patiala city.
