The Special Cell of the Rajpura police apprehended an associate of Goldy Dhillon, a gangster wanted by the National Investigation Agency (NIA).

Patiala ASP, Vaibhav Chaudhary, said the police arrested, Arshdeep Singh, a resident of Lohgah in Ferozepur, and recovered two pistols of .32 bore along with 18 live cartridges and a car. “The arrested person is the primary supplier of weapons and was tasked to perform target killings and run extortion racket at Rajpura and nearby cities,” he said.

Further investigation is underway to trace other members of the gang.
