Adhivakta Parishad Punjab celebrated the 75th anniversary of the adoption of Constitution of India in association with the District Bar Association Patiala, at the court complex.

Baldev Rai Mahajan, Advocate General of Haryana, was chief guest on the occasion, while Ranbir Singh Kharkali, Zonal Secretary (North Zone), Akhil Bhartiya Adhivakta Parishad; Manbir Singh Tiwana, president of District Bar Association, Patiala, were guests of honour.

Keynote speaker, Siddhartha Fuller, Assistant Professor, Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, shared his views on various aspects of the Constitution of India. Ranbir Singh Kharkali reflected on role of constitutional bodies in resolving various social problems in the light of the Constitution.

Chief guest BR Mahajan shared how the Constitution adapts to the evolving needs of society and also emphasised on the need of protecting social values.

The event saw active participation from office-bearers of various districts unit of Adhivakta Parishad, Punjab, and lawyers of Patiala.
