Patiala police arrest 3 aides of gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Rajiv Raja

In a significant operation, the Patiala police have apprehended three close associates of notorious gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Rajiv Raja, seizing four .32 bore pistols and 26 cartridges. The arrests were made as part of a special operation aimed at capturing the close associates of the gangsters, who are involved in various criminal activities.

The accused, Rohit Kumar alias Cheeku, Sukhpal Singh, and Yashraj alias Kalka, were arrested from different locations in Patiala. Yashraj was wanted in connection with the murder case of Avtar Tari. The police seized two pistols and 12 cartridges from Rohit and Sukhpal, and two pistols and 14 cartridges from Yashraj.

SSP Dr Nanak Singh stated that the arrested individuals are close associates of Lawrence Bishnoi and Rajiv Raja’s gang, and have been involved in various criminal cases. He added that further interrogation will reveal their links with the gangsters and the source of their weapons.
