The parents of school students travelling in a bus that fell into a gorge at Tikkar Tal in Morni Hills heaved a sigh of relief as their wards had a miraculous escape.

Though exact reason behind the mishap is yet to be ascertained, conductor of the ill-fated bus Satnam Singh cited failure of brakes as a major factor behind the accident.

The district administration has come up with a helpdesk to assist the parents at the Amargarh police station.
