Manvesh Singh Sidhu, Secretary, Labour Department, who is also the incharge of Fazilka district, today interacted with students, parents and educators during parent-teacher meetings held under the “Shiksha Kranti” programme at government senior secondary schools in Chanan Khera, Maluk Pura, Kera Khera and Gobindgarh villages of Abohar.

Sidhu said both parents and teachers had the responsibility to give proper education to the children and make them good citizens. He said parents and teachers could share with each other information about the child’s learning level and habits which would aid the student’s progress.

Deputy Commissioner Amarpreet Kaur Sandhu, SDM Krishan Pal Rajput and District Education Officer Brij Mohan Singh Bedi were present on the occasion.
