Panjab University organises symposium on nanotech
The University Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIET), Panjab University (PU), today hosted the MHRD Scheme for Promotion of Academic and Research Collaboration (SPARC) sponsored international symposium on the topic “Nanotechnology, Fabrication, Characterisation and Application”.
The SPARC aims to improve the research ecosystem in the Indian higher education institutions by facilitating academic and research collaborations between Indian and the best global institutions. It provides funding to support joint research projects between Indian researchers and their international counterparts.
Mohsen Rahmani from the School of Science and Technology at Nottingham Trent University, UK, was the keynote speaker at the event organised by the UIET biotechnology branch in association with the Society for Biological Engineering.
Rahmani discussed about recent advancements, emerging trends and career pathways in the field. He emphasised on the importance of inter-disciplinary collaboration, innovation and practical skills.
