The police claimed to have solved a total of five robbery cases which the gang committed on the NH-44 from Delhi to Panipat within the last 15 days.

The SP, while interacting with mediapersons, said that on Tuesday night, the miscreants robbed goods from a truck on the NH-44 near the Panipat Police lines. They took away the truck driver in their car and tied him to a tree in a field. Following the complaint of truck driver Ramtej Yadav of Chadau Mohalla, a case was registered at the Sector 29 industrial police station.

CIA-1 in-charge Inspector Sandeep Kumar, along with his team, solved the case within 48 hours and arrested two members of the gang, Aamir and Aadil, from Yamuna Bridge on Thursday evening and recovered the car used in the crime, the SP said.
