ADCP Vishaljit said, “We cannot clear at the moment whether it was an explosion or not.”

The Gurbax Nagar police station was among several police stations which was shut down last year though the building was still in possession of the police.

A permanent naka was established at the spot after the police station was shut down there.

Subhash Kapoor, a local resident, said that the explosion occurred at around 3 am. The people got frightened after the incident, he added.
