The local police have arrested the accused wanted in a case related to seizure of illicit liquor in Palwal.

Renu Shekhawat, SHO of the Gadpuri police station, said the accused, Satish, was nabbed by a team on Saturday night. She said he was booked by the police under various sections, including the Excise Act, after the police seized around 567 bottles of illicit liquor. The bottles were found in a liquor vend near Nangla Bhiku on August 31. Satish, who had been illegally running the liquor vend, had been absconding. He was taken on one-day police remand after he was produced in the local court on Sunday.
