The DC directed the field staff of the Revenue Department to make efforts to provide assistance to the beneficiaries in the shortest possible time. “During a disaster, the administration should immediately reach out to the affected and provide all possible help. Any kind of delay in such works will not be acceptable,” he said.
He said the field staff should keep doing follow-up in relief work from time to time so that the shortcomings can be rectified quickly. Apart from this, the monitoring officers should also keep reviewing at the scheduled time.
