One injured in firing by robbers

A resident of Pakhopur village identified as Sukhjinder Singh (43) was injured when three robbers fired at him on Sunday. The victim was on way back home from the village market on his motorcycle when he was waylaid by bike-borne robbers.

The robbers first entered into scuffled with the victim and tried to loot money from him. When the victim resisted robbers attempt, one of them opened fire at him leaving him injured. The victim was admitted to the local civil hospital.

The Sarhali police have registered a case against unidentified robbers in this connection.
