Nuh, a district with a history of volatile elections, will see drone surveillance over 300 polling booths declared as critical on the polling day. To ensure peaceful voting, paramilitary forces will be deployed along with local police at these booths. In total, Haryana has around 3,500 sensitive booths, with 655 located in Nuh district, of which 303 fall into the critical category. Over 3,000 police officials and paramilitary personnel will be stationed across the district.

The Nuh police have issued an advisory warning against any instigating or objectionable posts on social media, which is currently under close surveillance. “The district is all set for polling. We have made all necessary arrangements and provided optimum security at booths according to their criticality. We have asked everyone to refrain from posting anything provocative on social media, which is under police scanner. We will not tolerate any attempt to disrupt peaceful polling,” said Nuh Commissioner of Police Vijay Pratap.

The district has set up two special control rooms, and duty magistrates have been appointed to oversee the proceedings. CCTV surveillance will also be in place at the polling booths. Nuh, being one of the most volatile districts in Haryana during elections, has often seen violence and disruptions that have led to re-polling. However, Deputy Commissioner Dhirender Khadgata has assured a smooth election this time.

In Gurugram, 252 polling booths have been classified as critical, with the majority concentrated in Sohna and Pataudi Assembly segments. According to Deputy Commissioner Nishant Yadav, additional forces will be deployed at these locations, and special surveillance teams have already become operational. “We are fully prepared to ensure peaceful elections. Security at critical booths has been doubled, and we are closely monitoring trouble-making social media accounts. We have urged all voters and candidates to avoid any actions that might disrupt peace,” said DC Nishant Yadav.
