No death in Mohali, 34 fresh cases

Thirty-four fresh Covid-19 cases were reported from the district today. As many as 111 more patients recovered from the virus during the past 24 hours. In a major relief, no Covid death was reported today.

Among the fresh cases, 33 were reported from Mohali (urban) and one from Dera Bassi.

Cap on social gatherings

Social gatherings have been restricted to a maximum of 100 persons for any indoor event and 250 for outdoor events till December 31. Any violation of these guidelines shall be punishable. — TNS

Chandigarh sees 67 cases

Chandigarh: The city on Wednesday reported 67 new Covid cases, taking the tally to 18,843. As many as 139 persons recovered from the infection. The total number of recovered patients stands at 17,912. TNS
