KULLU, JANuary 23

A Nepalese man brutally murdered his wife and son in Jari in Manikaran valley of this district today.

Kullu SP Gurdev Sharma said that information was received that a family of Nepali origin is quarrelling with each other in their room near Jari market. Police reached the spot and found the bodies of Maya Devi and her son Ching Chong on the floor mat. He added that both were murdered by Chandra Bahadur using a solid stick.

The SP said the accused had been nabbed and the police had gathered evidence. A murder case has been registered and investigation is under way. — OC
