NCC Day celebrated at Modi college
Multani Mal Modi College witnessed a grand celebration of NCC Day with vibrant cultural performances and enthusiastic participation from cadets representing three NCC battalions. The event highlighted the spirit of discipline, unity and culture, which are the core values of the National Cadet Corps.
Rajesh Malhotra, DSP Narcotics, Patiala, was the chief guest. His motivational address inspired the cadets to continue serving the nation with dedication and integrity.
College principal Neeraj Goyal, in his address, emphasised the importance of NCC in shaping the youth into responsible citizens and commended the cadets for their outstanding efforts.
Cadets from 5 Punjab Battalion, 4 Punjab Girls Battalion and 3 Air Squadron, along with their Associate NCC Officers, Lieutenant Dr Rohit Sachdeva, Lieutenant Dr Nidhi Rani Gupta and Flying Officer Dr Sumeet Kumar, actively participated in the event, making it a resounding success.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the contribution of the chief guest, principal, Associate NCC Officers, faculty members, staff and cadets for making the event memorable.
