NC stronger than ever in Jammu, says Gupta
National Conference’s provincial president Rattan Lal Gupta on Monday claimed that the party has emerged stronger than ever in the Jammu region, “establishing itself as the leading political force dedicated to the aspirations of the general public”.
In a statement issued here today, the senior NC leader highlighted that, for the first time, the NC Government, headed by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, not only chose a deputy chief minister from Jammu but also has two cabinet ministers from the region, reaffirming the party’s commitment to equal representation and inclusive development.
“The Omar Abdullah government is working without any discrimination, ensuring equal representation and opportunities for both the Jammu and Kashmir regions. The NC remains committed to its agenda of equitable growth, peace, and stability,” he added.
Gupta reiterated that only the NC has the vision and capability to fulfil the aspirations of the people of Jammu & Kashmir without any form of discrimination. “Our party’s track record speaks volumes about our dedication to the cause of unity, development, and empowerment. We have always strived to ensure that every voice is heard, and every region gets its fair share of growth,” he remarked.
Gupta asserted that the NC, “under the visionary leadership of Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah, continues to work tirelessly for the progress of Jammu & Kashmir. With its strong footing in both the Jammu and Kashmir regions, the party is poised to bring about positive and lasting change for all”.
