Nayab Singh Saini: Congress making false promises in bid to come to power
Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini alleged that the Congress leaders had been making false promises in a bid to come to power so that they could resort to loot of resources in the state.
Addressing a ‘Jan Ashirwad’ rally in the Uklana (Reserved) Assembly segment in Hisar district today, the Chief Minister said he hoped that people would not fall into the trap of falsehood and reject the Congress in the Assembly polls.
Saini said the BJP government had ensured government jobs to the youth of the state without any ‘parchi and kharchi’ (bribe and recommendation) during its tenure of 10 years. “Viral videos of Congress candidates who talk about jobs on the basis of recommendations have exposed the Congress’ intention of ignoring merit which has been the basis of the BJP government,” he said.
In such a situation, he said, people of Haryana wanted to bring back the BJP government for the third time in a row. He said Congress’ Rahul Gandhi had come to Haryana on a tour as Haryana was a good place from the tourism point of view adding that he would not be able to make any impact in Haryana Assembly polls.
The Chief Minister said he belonged to a poor family. “I know the pain of a poor man. I have implemented the policies so that the poor people benefit” he said adding that Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda had been making fun of his announcements, but Hooda should know that these announcements were just a trailer, the real movie would start after October 8 while claiming that the BJP would return to power.
