Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated in the school by paying tributes to the martyrs of Kargil War. Students of classes III to V paid tributes to the martyrs of Kargil War by giving speeches and reciting poems. The speeches and poems of the students were full of patriotic spirit. Teacher Asha told the children about Kargil Vijay Diwas in detail. Director of the school BD Gaba told the students that Kargil Vijay Diwas brings forth the saga of bravery of those amazing warriors of India who will always remain a source of inspiration for the countrymen.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.

The Tribune has two sister publications, Punjabi Tribune (in Punjabi) and Dainik Tribune (in Hindi).
