Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa is new Nawanshahr Deputy Commissioner

In the fresh transfer orders released by the Punjab Government on Tuesday, Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa has been appointed as the Deputy Commissioner of Nawanshahr. He was earlier posted as Chief Executive, PEDA, and was also having the additional charge of Secretary, Punjab State Information Commission. Meanwhile, the transfer orders have come just a day after the district got its new SSP on Monday. IAS Vishesh Sarangal, who was serving DC Nawanshahr, has now been posted as DC Kapurthala.

Meanwhile, Sandeep Sharma, a 1994 batch IPS officer, today took over as the SSP of Nawanshahr replacing Kanwardeep Kaur. He was earlier posted as Commandant, ISTC, Kapurthala. After taking the charge today, Sharma called senior officials and held a meeting with them. He told them to discharge their duty honestly.
