The Auckland House School Society organised a nativity programme at Auckland House School for Girls and Auckland House School for Boys on November 12 and 13, in which students performed in a play based on Jesus Christ.

The Most Rev PK Smantaroy, Bishop, Diocese of Amritsar and Rev Vinita Roy, Presbyter In-charge of Christ Church, Shimla, were the chief guests at the event.

The school’s director principal Smaraki Samantaroy was also present on both days of the event.

The programme commenced with a processional carol, which was followed by readings from the Holy Bible.

The birth of Christ was beautifully depicted by the students in the play.

The choir enthralled the audience with melodious carols, the play ended with the recessional carol.

Auckland House School for Boys Principal Reuben John expressed his admiration for the students’ talents and the event’s meticulously crafted staging.
