With global celebrities backing farm protests in India and government sensing foreign hands behind local provocations, Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday launched “India is united campaign on Twitter”, using the hashtag “India against propaganda”.
“No propaganda can deter India’s unity! No propaganda can stop India to attain new heights! Propaganda cannot decide India’s fate only ‘Progress’ can. India stands united and together to achieve progress. #IndiaAgainstPropaganda. #IndiaTogether,” Shah wrote on his twitter handle.

Ministers Piyush Goyal and Smriti Irani and Indian celebrities Karan Johar, Ajay Devgan and Akshay Kumar also tweeted with the hashtag ‘India Together’ and ‘Indian against propaganda’, making it a top Twitter trend through the day.
“International forces wary of India’s rising power are conspiring to weaken our democracy. We have to ensure we stay united and foil all attempts by anarchist and foreign forces,” tweeted Railway Minister Piyush Goyal.
Actor Akshay Kumar’s twitter handle read: “Farmers constitute an extremely important part of our country. And the efforts being undertaken to resolve their issues are evident. Let’s support an amicable resolution, rather than paying attention to anyone creating differences. #IndiaTogether #IndiaAgainstPropaganda.”
