Acting on directives from Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and with the support of the Municipal Corporation, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) constituency in-charge for Phagwara, Joginder Singh Mann, inaugurated a Rs 80 lakh street light installation project in the city today. The initiative commenced with the installation of lights in Onkar Nagar.

Addressing the gathering, Mann emphasised his commitment to resolving every issue faced by city residents effectively. “No stone will be left unturned in ensuring the development of every ward and locality in Phagwara,” he stated, appealing to citizens to strengthen Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in the upcoming municipal elections.

He highlighted that greater collaboration between the Municipal Corporation and the Punjab government would facilitate the city’s transformation into a model city with modern amenities, including basic infrastructure for newly developed colonies.

Prominent attendees included AAP Punjab spokesperson Harnur Singh Mann, senior leaders Daljit Raju Darvesh Pind, Gurdeep Singh Deepa, Samar Gupta, Varun Bangar (Sarpanch of Chak Hakim), and women leaders Pritpal Kaur Tuli, Raghbir Kaur, and Balbir Thakur. Other notable individuals present were Varun Kumar, Chaman Lal, Rajesh Kaulsar, Jinder Rasila, Sunny Batta, Gurpreet Jandu, Bunty Gill, Amarinder Singh, Inderjit Singh, Manjit Kaur, and Onkar Singh, along with a large number of local residents.

Joginder Singh Mann reiterated his vision to provide essential facilities and ensure holistic development for Phagwara, urging residents to play an active role in the city’s progress.
