Mumbai crime branch arrests Lawrence Bishnoi associate in Baba Siddiqui murder case from Ludhiana

The Mumbai crime branch, along with the Ludhiana crime branch, arrested Sujit Kumar, an associate of Lawrence Bishnoi, in connection with the Baba Siddiqui murder case. Kumar, a resident of Mumbai, was hiding at his in-laws’ house in Ram Nagar Mundian Kalan, Jamalpur, Ludhiana.

A joint team, including Inspectors Sham Nair and Arun Thora from Mumbai and Inspectors Kailash, Vikramjit Singh, and Rajesh Sharma from Ludhiana, conducted the raid.

Additional DCP (Crime) Amandeep Singh Brar stated that Kumar was part of the conspiracy in Siddiqui’s killing. The accused was taken to the Jamalpur police station before being flown to Mumbai.

“The alleged accused was involved in the conspiracy to kill NCP leader Baba Siddiqui. Following the arrest, we took the accused to the Jamalpur police station, and then the Mumbai team took custody of him for further investigation. The accused will be transported to Mumbai by flight,” said ADCP Brar.
