Moosewala’s father campaigns for Amrita Warring
Balkaur Singh, father of slain singer Shubhdeep Singh, aka Sidhu Moosewala, today said that his son lived two years more just because of PCC chief-cum-MP Amrinder Singh Raja Warring. He appealed to the public to vote for Congress candidate Amrita Warring.
Addressing a gathering at a village here, Balkaur Singh said, “What was my son’s fault? He improved the condition of our family with his songs. However, he had enemies from the day he entered the profession. Later, he joined politics. He lived two years more because of Raja Warring as the Congress was in power in the state at that time.... However, the AAP government’s policies claimed his life. The BJP also has a role in it as the state government and the Centre failed to maintain law and order. I appeal to all of you to ask AAP leaders what is their association with gangsters, who are posting reels on social media from jails.”
Balkaur said this election was not only for electing an MLA, but to make Raja Warring stronger for a bigger responsibility in future. “My opponents target me saying I am doing politics on Sidhu’s name. I ask you all whether seeking justice for my son is politics?”
Meanwhile, Congress leader Sukhpal Singh Khaira also held some programmes in villages here today.
