Mohali reports four deaths and 134 COVID-19 cases on Sunday, taking the district’s death total to 161.
The coronavirus tally stands at 8,362.
In the last 24 hours, 112 patients have recovered from the deadly disease.
COVID-19 deaths
A 40-year-old man and a 65-year-old man from Behda and Balongi villages, respectively, and both of them had died in GMCH, Patiala.
A 75-year-old man from Rampur Sania died at Amar Hospital, Mohali, and a 46-year-old woman from Dhakoli died at Alchemist Hospital in Panchkula.
Sharing details, Civil Surgeon, Dr Manjit Singh, said that three men and a woman died due to COVID-19 in the last 24 hours. The deceased include 40-year-old and 65-year-old men from Behda and Balongi villages, respectively, and succumbed to the deadly disease at GMCH, Patiala, and a 75-year-old man from Rampur Sania died at Amar Hospital, Mohali, and a 46-year-old woman from Dhakoli died at Alchemist Hospital in Panchkula.
